Sat - Nov. 10, 1917 Inspection & school. dinner at 11:30. go to Tacoma eat dinner again look around until 4 P.M. go to the Y.M.C.A and report for duty. guard a Miss McCormack until 6:30 P.M. Then eat dinner at her home, go back to the Y.M.C.A. entertainment had a fine time but had to leave at 9:30 got to camp 10:20 Marines & 91st play football at the Tacoma stadium score 13-0 favor of Marines I didn't see it though. Soldiers recreation fund tag day. |
Sun - Nov. 11, 1917 get up eat breakfast read the paper. It is raining hard. Round up held at Remount station don't think I will go. Wrote to Berniece. Went to sleep & almost missed supper. I am going to bed early K.P. all next week. |
