Sat - Feb. 23, '18 Inspection this morning. play ball against 362nd Co. and beat them. nothing to do all afternoon. go to the Y.M.C.A. come back and go to bed. got up and went to a dance at the K.C. Hall (1) Sun - Feb. 24, '18 stay around all day on account of being on K.P. write to Berniece and go to bed. Mon - Feb. 25, '18 drill awhile and drill some more. go for a hike all afternoon. Raining. finish letter to Berniece and mail it. |
Tue - Feb. 26, '18 nice day all day. hike & drill all morning. play ball awhile scrub barracks this afternoon. get a letter from Berniece and answer it. play ball awhile eat supper & get ready to go on a field problem (2). start at 7:P.M. and walk until 10:30 build a fire fix my bed and crawl in. quite tired. rather lonesome by myself. quite cold and raining.supposed to meet at zero. Wed - Feb. 27, '18 get up at 6:A.M. cook breakfast and start out again at 7:30. hard going & slow progress. stop at noon and eat lunch start out again had trout for dinner. seen two deers today. stop for... |
