train to Dundee go home eat supper & take 10:35 train out walked up from Newberg awfully muddy & wet got there at 1:45 and went to bed. Sun - March 10, '18 (Note 1) got up at 9: A.M. eat breakfast at noon. Berniece gave me a spanking & then played two new pieces I brought her. eat again at 3 & start for the train. get home and have dinner & meet a Miss Graham go over town and meet B._ on the train at 8:P.M. she couldn't go to the depot with me, & leaves us immediately & mother and Miss Graham & I went to the depot. got on... |
the train at 10:30 and go to sleep. Had a good time Mon - March 11, '18 get to camp at 4:A.M. drill all morning. I am awfully sleepy. Write to Berniece & mother & hike all afternoon. go to the train & come back & go to bed. Tue - March 12, '18 fatigue all day & take singing lessons got a box of cigarettes for present today. letter from Wash D.C. for my transfer, filled and sign transfer & send it back |
