mail a card to Berniece take exercise at Grand Island. quite a bit of freedom there. got there at 7 o'clock. hit Columbus about 10:30 and go to bed. Hit Omaha at 12:30 but can't see any thing or any body. |
Mon - July 1, '18 (Note 1) woke up at Marshall town no one at the depot tho. real pretty country but a little hilly. been raining here. eat breakfast upon leaving there and no more stops to Wheat land. Red cross served dinner at Clinton Ohio at 12:15 lost Capt. McRae and had to go back after him. Hit east Chicago at 5 P.M. took exercise there. Chi at 6 30 and stayed until 8:30 Red cross served sandwiches & cigarettes Hit Hammon Indiana at 9 PM. and go to bed. send a card to B._ |
