Tue - July 2, '18 (Note 1) woke up in Ohio. stopped at Ohio City, had breakfast upon leaving there. No stops at Ashland or Akron getting quite strict with us. not even allowed to holler. stop at Kent for exercises. Mail a card to B_ & the folks. not makeing much time today pass through one corner of Pa. eat supper on leaving Shenangan Pa. hit N.Y. state at 7:30. Big wreck at Ashville N.Y. evidence of the second wreck we have seen today. Hit Salamancu N.Y. & took exercise about 8 P.M. & go to bed. |
Wed - July 3, '18 woke up I dont know where but in N.Y. state ate breakfast took exercise at Munsey N.Y. Red cross gave out cigarettes & candy at soujern right after lunch passed thru Spring Valley. nothing much very interesting hit camp Merritt at 7 P.M. ate supper at 9:30 wrote to Berniece and mother. go to bed. |
