Thu - Oct. 25, 1917 drill all morning rain and wind and dust an awful day. put in application for truck driver went to drive ambulance's up from loading platform and found they didn't need us Waited from 1 to 3:30 got a letter from Berniece and answered it. |
Fri - Oct. 26, 1917 Fatigue all morning nothing of interest Went on a hike to the sound this afternoon coming back we got lost in the woods and after travelling about 1 1/2 hours found our selves back at the sound about 1/2 mile from where we started then we went out to the highway by Nisqually and got back to camp at 5:15 just in time for retreat awful tired and hungry went on guard until 11:30 |
