Sun - Sept. 9, 1917 Rained again. Played Pedro for awhile. mailed music to Berniece. got a letter from Berniece answered it and went on guard at field Hospital Chicken for supper Mon - Sept. 10, 1917 On guard, trying to rain. Srgt Crowe got back from Portland with 4 boxes of Candy and still it rains. Tue - Sept. 11, 1917 On guard tonight Drill all morning drill with poles for letters this P.M.... |
Capt Dellwood gave us our first lecture on first aid. Wed - Sept. 12, 1917 Got out of drill this morning and went to bed to sleep. started out to drill this afternoon and it started to pour down rain and they sent us back to our tents. Went to the Y.M.C.A all evening One of the boys got a cake another of the boys got a cake it sure is good. |
