Thu - Sept. 13, 1917 K.P. today, had our picture taken twice today got a shot in the arm for typhoid my arm is quite stiff finish up with K.P. got a letter from Berniece and answered it. Fri - Sept. 14, 1917 Raining this morning and no drill because our arms are all sore. no drill in P.M. either Srgt. Crowe is sick wrote three letters. Nothing to do at all, report for guard at 4 P.M. Went over to look at our new barracks it is going to be some fine place. guard Officers Quarters tonight got a box of Candy from Lillian this evening. Sat - Sept. 15, 1917 Beautiful day on guard until 6 P.M. Inspection this morning. Went swimming this afternoon. Got a letter from Berniece, also a box of candy which was sure good. answered Berniece's letter |
