Sun - Sept. 16, 1917 Wait on table Police ground eat candy nothing much to do. Wash some clothes. Sang songs for a while. Had a wreck between motor cycle and water truck one man badly hurt took him too the hospital in a private car. No dinner until 1:30 We are going to have chicken for dinner We had it. Nothing to do. Finished the box of candy from Berniece Went to bed about 8 o'clock. |
Mon - Sept. 17, 1917 Drill all morning no mail at noon Lecture this P.M. no mail tonight getting rather lonely around here of an evening. I am going to bed. Tue - Sept. 18, 1917 No mail from Berniece for 4 days. drill all morning had our picture taken I was all wrapped up in Bandages after dinner aired out our tents and belongings... |
